Highly recommend over traditional classroom lessons. I learned with Yoko-sensei for a year, now studying in Tokyo and tested into 201 level. Less of an emphasis on writing and kanji but definitely will develop speaking skills if that’s what you’re going for. I’m able to communicate with Japanese classmates and friends with little difficulty.
